The Model Parliament Workshop invites grades 6–12 students at Canadian schools to explore how our democracy works—how bills become law, who speaks when, and the traditions that guide the House of Commons. Since April 2025, monthly sessions have offered hands-on practice in parliamentary debate and procedure in a non-competitive, educational setting. Participation is free; please register only if you plan to attend and let us know if your plans change. Each session features a distinct theme, with an expert matter guest speaker based on the workshop bills for the session. Workshops are led by instructors Rowena, Paschaline, Lindsay, Sarah and Lucinda.
