The Speech & Debate Canada Foundation debate tournaments bring together students from grades 6–12 to celebrate Canada’s rich tradition of speech and debate. Designed to promote accessible high-calibre training, each tournament features multiple preliminary rounds with breaks to Open and Junior elimination stages. Prizes are awarded to top-performing debaters. Proceeds from each event help expand speech and debate opportunities nationwide.

Price: $70/Team

Prize: Top Open Team: Top Junior Team; Top Open Speaker Overall.

Format: Canadian National Debate Format

Eligibility: Enrolled in Grades 6 through 12 during the 2026/2027 school year
